Spinal Decompression
Definition
IDD Therapy (Intervertebral Differential Dynamics) is a precise, computer-controlled form of spinal decompression, given on the Accu-SPINA system. Instead of stretching the whole spine, it targets only the injured segment, gently opening the space between two vertebrae to take pressure off a compressed, bulging or herniated disc and the nerves near it. Sessions take 25 to 30 minutes. Renner Integrative Manual Therapy in Springfield, MO, offers it as a non-surgical option for back and neck pain.
