Who is Chuck Renner?

Charles (Chuck) Renner, OTR, CHT, is the owner and President of Renner Integrative Manual Therapy, LLC in Springfield, Missouri. He earned his degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Kansas, specialized early in upper-extremity rehabilitation and was among the first group of therapists to earn the Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential. He later added Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Complete Decongestive Therapy and a wide range of specialized manual therapy techniques, and about 20 years ago his focus shifted toward chronic pain. He is certified to teach Primal Reflex Release Technique and is a Master Instructor for the ANF Academy.

Does Chuck Renner treat hand, wrist and arm problems?

Yes. Chuck Renner is a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT): early in his career he specialized in upper-extremity rehabilitation (the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder) and was among the first group of therapists to earn the credential. When an injury needs to be immobilized, he can make a custom splint fitted to you, which is far better than one that is mass-produced. Call 417-248-1056.

Does Renner Integrative Manual Therapy take insurance or Medicare?

The practice is out-of-network with all health plans. If you have out-of-network benefits, you will get a copy of your bill to submit to your plan yourself. Its occupational therapists are not enrolled as Medicare providers, so Medicare will not pay for the services and they are paid privately at the time of service. Receipts are available for HSA, HRA and FSA plans. The full details are in the Payment Agreement on the website.

What is the cancellation policy at Renner Integrative Manual Therapy?

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel a scheduled appointment. With less notice, a late cancellation or no-show fee of 50% of the visit rate applies; the practice may waive it at its discretion. Call or text 417-248-1056.

Where can I get Spinal Flow in Springfield, MO?

Chuck Renner offers Spinal Flow at Renner Integrative Manual Therapy, 2840 E. Chestnut Expy, Suite C, Springfield. Spinal Flow is a gentle, holistic technique that uses light touch at seven gateways along the spine to calm the nervous system and support the body’s own healing. It suits people of all ages, from children to seniors. Call 417-248-1056 to book a session.

Is IDD spinal decompression available in Springfield, MO?

Yes. Renner Integrative Manual Therapy offers IDD Therapy, a computer-guided spinal decompression on the Accu-SPINA system that targets only the injured disc segment, as a non-surgical option for back and neck pain. Each session takes 25 to 30 minutes, and you hold a safety button the whole time. Ask at your consultation whether it is right for you: 417-248-1056.

What is SubZero cryotherapy?

SubZero uses pressurized CO₂ gas to chill a small area of the body fast enough to cause “thermal shock”, which activates the body’s healing response: muscles relax, fresh blood and nutrients move to the area, and pain signals quiet down. It is quick and non-invasive, with no downtime. Chuck Renner offers SubZero in Springfield, MO; you can add it to a session or ask whether it fits what you are dealing with.

Does Chuck Renner offer Class IV laser therapy?

Yes. Class IV laser therapy is a noninvasive treatment that uses therapeutic light energy to support the body’s natural healing processes. It is designed to help reduce pain, ease inflammation, and improve mobility, without surgery or medication, and can typically be completed in a short office visit. At Chuck’s practice it may be used as part of a comprehensive approach to treating painful conditions.

What techniques does Chuck Renner use?

Twenty-seven, gathered over three decades: among them Spinal Flow, IDD spinal decompression, SubZero cryotherapy, Class IV laser therapy, Primal Reflex Release Technique, Amino Neuro Frequency, P-DTR, the Zone Technique, Neural Reset Therapy, ASTYM, Active Release Technique, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, dry needling, manual lymphatic drainage, kinesiotape, custom splinting and the Epley maneuver. You do not have to pick: at your first visit Chuck listens, assesses and chooses what fits you, and most sessions combine several techniques.

Does Chuck Renner teach courses for healthcare providers?

Yes. Chuck is certified to teach two courses: Primal Reflex Release Technique (PRRT), including an online upper-extremity course he developed, and Amino Neuro Frequency (ANF), as a Master Instructor for the ANF Academy. He teaches MDs, DOs, chiropractors, physical and occupational therapists, dentists, nurses and massage therapists. Email chuckrenner@sbcglobal.net to learn more.
